Now you know I love 1990s dancehall as much as the next.  But I am all about the newest riddims coming out of Jamaica.

The ‘Jim Screechie Riddim’ is one of my favs right now.  I’ve mixed some of the choice cuts from the riddim in a dj mix.  No airhorn or FX junk on this mix.  Just a clean, fun riddim mix.

DJ Mix – Return of the DJ

I was pleased to be in the booth with Table Manners Crew, the infamous party movers who hold the current title as the Austin Chronicle’s Favorite DJ Crew.  After another appearance as the highlighted guest of the monthly Return of the DJ event, I received a crazy response from attendees asking for a copy of the set.  This recording is my turntables, isolated from DJ Tats, who was illustrating his abilities as ‘cutmaster supreme.’  Props to TMC, Digg and Tatsu especially.
